The solution does not work for me. Alt-tab merely crashes freelancer most of the time, no matter what resolution my game and desktop are set to. Freelancer doesn't play well in fullscreen with dual monitors for me, and it's kind of a load of shit that my favourite mod for freelancer doesn't support a mode that I require in my games.
