The visibility of the huge alien ships should be improved. The big DK and new Alien Races Ships appear and disappear spontaneously. I assume it might have something to do with missing LOD ranges?!

normal rendering range is about 2,5 k as far as i have read - and several meshes could solve this problem. Dunno at least i understood it so far. But i would trust more on OPs word. If he says its not feasible and would cause heavily lag than i can life without it as well.

Problem with description of: GMG EXPEDITION WRECK The Info cards on all wrecks is saying: "This ship did belong to the GMG fleet which was sent to the Inner Core some weeks ago. It is not known what happened to the other ships of that fleet but probably they were destroyed aswell."
