Not trying to necro an old post but I had a similar question. I've beaten the original freelancer many times over and the promise of new campaign missions is what got me into this mod (great work btw), and I was wondering whether I have to grind through the story mode again, starting at freedport 7, or if I can jump right into the CF missions.
