I wanted to switch from a Kusari Destroyer to a Liberty Cruiser at the station in Daedalus but when I dock the ship simply touches the station and just stays there trying to moor. Do I need to wait really long or are destroyers not supposed to dock at a station like this? I realize I could buy an Eagle and then switch but then I'm going to lose my BS guns as a fighter cannot carry those.

Okay, I wasn't sure because I had remembered docking to a station via the mooring fixtures before but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the help.
