whenever i lauch FL with CF 1.81 installed i get a message thet i dont have a graphics card capable of 3D i had no such prob in 1.7 ive tried installing and rebooting but to no avail

what directx version do i need and since i use my old pc so would u please tell me if DX11 compatible with it

no it has xp made in 2004 it is able to run fl and cf 1.7 very smoothly tried everything including updating my gaphix driver but there was no update.checked if some feature was disabled but nothing will turning off advanced controls help?but i dont want to compromise graphix but if there is NO other way then............

can u just tell me how to do that? did that a long time ago n dont remember how to do it advanced graphix optins in CF? and what about legacy support please put with details

the link u gave me does notwork but i get it...so i turn off advanced graphix and turn on support for ols GPUs,right?...............wish i could use my PSC right now but for a few months..it will be used for scientific purposes only.......maybe by that time nvidia'a fermi will be out n ill be the first one to buy to of them and then it will truly be a PSC

Fatal Error Microsoft Freelancer did not detect a graphic card capable of 3D.Try rebooting your system you may need to install Freelancer.(it is not the exact one but this is what i remember)

if u wanna see this message just turn off all the DirectX features.Run>dxdiag>turn of anything related to 3D graphix and then launch fl also goto the first page to see the exact message i recieve(well...almost exact)

well im sorry if i did anything wrong...........yes this is the error message.......i dont think that any1 who cant speak english is stupid infact i would be happy if i could learn their language..........i will turn off the advanced shader.........i knew that my post was clear so i told others how to view that error msg?(

First of all thank u Bullwinkle disabling advanced shader worked and CF 1.8 is B-E-A-utiful.........CF in works perfectly SP then why not in MP?
