I believe they are not assigned to any keyboard keys intially once you've installed the mod and fired up Crossfire for the first time, therefore they need to be assigned to keys to use them.

Argh. I was going to into detail of my weapons groups firing modes and tactics but I lost the entire post... I'll have to retype it up again and in good detail guys. Maybe it's time for me to make that "primer" while it's fresh on my mind.
