Try this, deinstall freelancer, crossfire 1.8 and mod manager, then do a new instal in the following order: 1. Instal Freelancer2. Instal Mod manager3. Instal Crossfire 1.8 and activate the mod by selecting it in the mod manager. It could/should help, me and my mate had to do this a few times before there were no errors.
