Thanks No I just used photoshop. I originally intended to edit the page w/ Firebug, but won't show images on my HDD for some reason, so I 'shopped it And actually I'm pretty sure smth like this can be done on the old portal software P.S.: Maybe we can try to convince OP just to change the logo

@OP the PNG should work if you have a certain javascript hack in site's code, which makes IE6 render transparent PNGs correctly (which you should have if you already have transparent PNGs and want them to be transparent :P)
