  • I get low FPS when facing planets or I am docked somewhere, be it a station or a planet, otherwise it's a smooth ride. Is there someone who knows how to overcome this problem ?
  • Spiky, it didn't work... even at lowest settings. Kermit, I tried lots of stuff + the ones you recommended, same problem persists... it's really driving me insane... any recommendations guys, short of reinstalling the windows ?
  • (Quote) Anyway, no new hardware. The computer hasn't change in a few months now...
  • Huor, my PC is some 7 or so months old... I don't think it's possible to be the reason. Not to mention that the FPS drop rate happend suddenly, I play... I quit playing, I come 10-20 minutes later on and the huge problem emerges... It's way too sudden.
  • Well, so far from what I've seen, I have no choice, but a windows reinstall ;(... I really didn't want it to come to that. However what happens if the problem persists even after a reinstall ?
  • Latter option sounds good, but isn't it still in it's development stages or is it finally out, a good working Windows 7 ?
  • I'll stick to windows for now. Anyway, there will be some time before I get my lazy ass (forgive the rude language lol) to reinstall the windows, so you can brainstorm for ideas on this and how to counter it... cause like I said even a clean windows might not do the trick.
  • Guys, it disappeared... as in no low FPS anymore. What the hell's going on here ?
  • Assault, if it was a corrupt file, can it fix itself all alone after 60+ hours ?
  • Yeah, and if you load it with that stuff you'll have to consider the consequences on your online experiences... constant scannings mean more processing power drained... not to mention if the program decides to update at a crucial time... It's like a catastrophic overload of a ZPM lol (directed at RogueJet :D). It will practically kill your gaming experience.
