You can edit this, but it is not for the weak of heart. Vanilla uses 3 docking characters, a male, a female and a robot: m01, f01 and f01aAll three would have to be edited for a global effect. Matching the voices perfectly would be difficult, basically find other phrases they speak and cut and paste in an editing program to make a new phrase. Or you can do a full edit. Each voice ini file can have multiple entries for the same phrase, one for each voice type listed in it. For instance, open voices_space_male.ini and notice the [voice] headers as you go down. First you will see the atc (docking character), then the mission commission fella (mc) then all the male pilots. All of the pilots have identical phrases, but different voices.
