Just an idea seems there is a problem with the sound. Unfortunal you are not able to go to the options menu. Try to do the following: in your \My Games\Freelancer Directory edit the File PerfOptions.ini and set this value: USE_3D_SOUNDS = 0.00 . Also have a look for exsiting Save Games and delete (or move) them from that directory. edit: Uups, just saw its already answered...
