im not sure, but as far as i know, installing the cf-mod is modifying the 'original', so that you can't play the original freelancer version anymore once you installed the mod. unless you uninstall the mod again and try to have the same fun with the regular microsoft-freelancer version. but i can tell you, once you installed the mod and played it, you wont wanna play the previous version again. but try to find out for yourself.
