    please make sure u followed "Installation Instructions" in the CF Guide in ur case i would check if ALL saved game data in "My Documents/My Games/Freelancer/Accts/SinglePlayer (including the file "Restart.fl") got deleted. any remaining file from anothe rmod will liekly crash the game on start...
