Eagle is an excellent VHF. I personally have great success in it. lagg is also nice, but I agree it's only a fashion atm. Also entirely too fast. Saracen is a nicely balanced VHF and it does fit almost every role for combat except for acting as a Cap ship. Shroud is nice too and many people have success in it. Same with the Predator and Arcangel.
