make a video with Fraps or something which shows the time from pressing "Freelancer.exe" to um... not getting anything, upload it to google video and post it here. It might help us to determine the problem

hmm maybe the problem was in the new graphics system? it's a directx hook as far as I remember, and Fraps uses a dx hook (to display framerate) too... maybe you could try deleting the dx[something with "3" and "9"].dll from /Freelancer or /Freelancer/EXE dir's... (can't check it atm -- not @ my pc)

train in (Hidden Content)might be a choice, but be ready to cough up ... 40mil?you can also try the scouser in the same place for a couple o' mill less. if you want to dock on stations too, your best shots are Bullpup3 (tho you can't get one :D), APC freighter and Armored Transport (the latter is in a clansystem if i remember right)
