sounds like the update did not work and u don't get the dynamic economy files. this lets u crash whenever u try to undock, doesn't it? please do a clean install by following the list in the CF Guide. check if u have permission to write into freelancer path. also see, if u removed any read only attribute from files and directories in the freelancer path...
