Find the CF Guide on the Freelancer boards for installation tips, and plunge on in. I don't think I even played SP version of CF before I jumped into MP; it has been quite a ride, ever since! -
If multiplayer gets too intense, go back and play thru the single player again, to get used to the maps, NPC's and trading. CF is a fun place if you don't let it get to you... (No worries, it was less than $2million, party because I got him killed flying in formation... )
