Hi I am new here and have spent the last 4 hours downloading the mod, allowed it to upgrade on launching the FL, and waited for ever for this to complete. The CF guide says nothing about the launcher not upgrading to 1.56 but being stuck on 1.54 It's downloading about 8 files every time i start it.... market_commodities.ini...then a few more then cf55, cf56 cf57 and then news.dll ... I have restarted this about 20 times already and it keeps on downloading the same files Any suggestions apprecia…

same problem ... loads the files, run SP , Quite, go back .. still 1.54 It's like something is not updating...... File Versions Freelancer.exe = 1.7.0.0 cfwd.exe = 1.07.0065 SEE on my userpage.. is an image i uploaded .. seems there is a socket conenction failure ???? I have opened up the UDP ports on the firewall and have also added he two exe's to the firewall exception lsit. Kind Regards

Running NTFS file system with Indexing ON and Disk Caching OFF. Also running TortoiseVNC active and Visual Source Save ON. I will experiment a bit during the coming weekend and let you know.... For now I am maxed out on SP level and just flying around and learning the map... Kind Regards Ben

Found The Problem Microsoft Office Groove 2007 has a monitor that runs, and as long as the monitor runs, the Freelancer Launcher is unable to update itself. Up to 1.56 now and loading rest of files... Kind regards Ben
