I'm not entirely sure if this is the right forum, but I have the feeling this is somehow Crossfire related. I have all graphic settings maxed out, but nonetheless for example asteroid fields start to appear very late. Just seconds before I would fly into them. That is a bit immersion breaking.I have the feeling that this wasn't the case in vanilla. So my question is: Did I something wrong or is this normal?Is there an ini tweak to make such objects appear earlier? Thanks in advance! Dome

Ok, thanks! I don't think the comp specs are a problem here. And as I said in the OP, I'm not really sure if that is a CF prob. It could well be that it was the same in vanilla (I don't really remember and I don't want to play vanilla anymore after having played CF!). I just thought there may be an ini tweak, so the objects pop up earlier. I'm sure my comp would tackle it. Greetz! Darina
