u start CF with 200 000 credit's make use of them, look for a better ship once you start, you can fight any vannila NPC with an hammer head, so I recomend you go directly to Kusary and take a Dragon or a Barracuda, in a short time you will have money for an Hammer head, more then enough to kill a DK gunboat. -
oop's sry my bad, but even in open single player? well, first thing I use to do is to loot the wreck's on the badland's, if that help's you. :]
