Mate: You will not be able to compete with the rest of us in game if you don't look for each individual piece of equipment/ship. We'll have mapped the known universe and you'll have squat. Seriously...Just look through everything, check the shipyard/eq sales on every station/dockable. For ships, buy every single one and see which one you like best. I did that either before or during 1.61. Its very worthwhile.
