sounds like you may still have some old saved games or data on your system. go into your computer - c drive - program files - microsoft games. delete the freelancer folder. download a fresh copy of crossfire and do a reinstall.ive had the same problems before and sometimes its been ok if i just do a reboot tho - no doubt you've tried that tho
