i had the same problem but after i stopped the process that remained in the task manager after the launcher crashed and opened the game again it patched and is now working fine

Hi my name is tim just thought i'd say hello

freelancer is my most favort game ever, to understand how a big deal this to me you have to know a few things about me.

1. i am a graphics junky games from last year have unplayably bad graphics, i can't play a game unless i can max the settings

2. i absolutely hate grindy games and yet i can grind for weeks on freelancer

3. i almost never finish games because i get very bored with them and after i stop playing i NEVER play them again, i have been playing freelancer on and off since it came out

i have no idea what makes freelancer so good but i have never found a game that i can play like it

anyway thats my rant for the day seyaa in space:)
