Alright, I don't know what the problem was but we just upgraded to fiber optic cable to the house and a new router and it's working! Thanks for the support everyone.

Of course not ... well, we excluded all the things that could be possibly doing this and... the only thing remains - A windows issue(as it can't be from the internet though... but if it was , do you have access to german websites , servers .. etc?)

- Windows Firewall
- Anti-Virus Firewall + Allowing access for CF
and more maybe...And have you tried them already?
It's allowed through. I cannot think of why this isn't working. Hmm... Could it be because I have Starlancer installed? Or something silly like that?

I think clicking the LAN option also takes you to the internet server list.
Alright, well whatever the case it doesn't appear in LAN and it has no stats in the internet list.

Hmm.. strange.. and the server isn't compatible for LAN. It's only for Online.
And I guess something's blocking your connection
Yeah, I didn't think it was for LAN. Being Local Area. But that's how he said he connected. I'll look to see what might be blocking my connection.

I'd find that hard to believe. Perhaps I should have mentioned that this would be the first time playing CF in over four years? I was just going to use new characters. Since it's a new IP address.
Also a friend told me I was suppose to connect via LAN? The server doesn't even show up there.

Maby the server had crashed at the moment u tried to log on.....did u try to refresh 1 min after.

Yeah, it says "Crossfire 1.82" This is correct I think.
I'll try reactivating the mod and see if that works.

Alright, So I've searched some other threads and they don't seem to be the same problem. I open up crossfire, All is fine. I find the server. But the ping is unknown there are no players playing and when I try to connect it just says I'm sorry unable to connect at this time blah blah blah.
A little help please?
