I am running windows 7, and have no problems with starting up the game. Though i deactivated uac completely. Try it, if it doesnt work i dont know it either. Cause heh..i have the same problem but then on windows vista :P..
Maybe its a common thing whats wrong? Not specialy on the OS?
But the real odd thing is, it only acts like this on CF..I played void mod, discovery mod, never had this problem. Its pure cause of the CF mod whats not doing something when in vista.
