First of all there is no preview of Half Life 2 Ep 3 or Half-Life 3

Secondly Half-Life 3 (or Ep3) is arguably the most anticipated PC game ever (stupid Sims don't count) so if Valve would screw it up I can guarantee you that THE INTERNET WILL BE FUCKING MAD and on a scale 100 times bigger than with ME3

But we are talking about Valve here, maker of the best game ever and run by Gabe Newell aka. Gaben the biggest legend in the gaming industry (also in physical size ~~). So screwing up their Half-Life franchise like scrub BioWare is very unlikely.

Intel just 'destroys' AMD atm

To be fair I only started informing myself about PC stuff during the last summer because I plan on buying a desktop some when this year eventually...

And if there is one thing I learned is that the AMD vs Intel discussion is purely based on subjective preferences. I am interested in one thing; that my PC can run all games fluently (and perhaps recording/video editing in the near future). The differences in FPS are not very significant.

Let's say you buy a X6 1055T with a Radeon 6950 and compare it to a i7 2600k with a 580 GTX... yes the latter will be more powerful but the differences in FPS really don't matter. It's only junkies with too much money who buy a graphic card every second month.

I can build a 550 euros PC and a 900 euro PC but the more powerful will absolutely not make my gaming experience more enjoyable because I get 60 FPS instead of 35 or 40...

I've had AMD (ATI), Nvidia and Intel and never had problems with either.

well first of all there is no such thing as the AMD Phenom II X6 960T six cores because what you actually meant (in your original post) is the AMD Phenom II X4 960T which is a Quad Core.

Secondly an i7 2700k is immensely more powerful than the X4 960T in pretty much every apsect. But have a look here for yourself: PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End

Furthermore nVidia and Intel are at the moment ahead by a fair margin ... the GTX 680 is just ridiculous (PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmarks - High End Video Cards).

AMD will need to work overtime to keep up with the competition; same with their CPU. The Bulldozer has arguably been a flop and soon the Ivy Bridge CPU will come out.

That's what system chat is for and you can obviously form groups with others and talk through the group chat no matter where you are

it's not different from an MMO really. General chat is always restricted to the current area you are in.

The reason why nobody is answering you is because only those granted access to talk via console chat (i.e. to ALL the players regardless in which system they are currently residing in) are Event Managers and GR -- Serverpolice. And that's for a good reason otherwise everyone would just always talk and spam in console and everyone, no matter where they are, would be able to read it.

You need to directly talk to a player by clicking on his name in the chat window or talk through the system chat.
