Happened to me too even with the fully updated version. Lol it even deleted the shortcut the first time, and then it changed the some of the graphics in-game, and i could only cruise speed to 300... so i had to reinstall everything again.
So i tried again.... Same thing happened it crashed, and it did that 2 times. Then i thought, it could probably be the cargo? So i jettisoned everything i had in my cargo hold except the data disk... and you know what it work! I docked the Osiris and everything was fine, no crash.!
