    The pirates in Crossfire-Universe are quite "civilized" as I got it by now. They have to wait (by rule) until your up to stand a chance against them.


    I think, a little swear, when fitting the situation wouldn't harm anybody here. On being the humans we are, its not avoidable.


    About this rallying on NPCs, just ask, if someone else will take part. Should be possible. And then : DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE QUESTS !!
    There are many and they are fun, keeping you on exploring, and exploring, and......





    A little explanation :


    I am a dedicated Singleplayer -for other reasons- for years now. I am on Crossfire because it HAS the most evolved singleplay in the whole FL-universe.


    But the guys here talked me with a lot of words and "friendly" answers on questioning about singleplay, into first-time ever playing on a server.


    ATM for me it's like playing OpenSinglePlayer, preparing to QUEST.
    It has some advantages over SP alone, also there're some things I prefer while playing alone.


    My advise so far: JUST TRY IT !

    It's build FOR roleplay in the FIRST instance.


    There are quite a lot of pirat-clans very active on the server. But also some strong police-clans.


    Due to the serverrules, which can be first-viewed by just leaving planet-Manhatten, swearing is officially not allowed. You would have to work around a bit like SH-T or ev. F--K in typing and esp. DON'T be peronal offending (if the character your swearing at isn't your special buddy).

    for "teasing" the more abeled ones here, it could be helpful to give some information, what's your mod is about and what you eventually already have.


    (Plz have in mind, that there are still some mods of this community, that are not finished yet.)

    Questions about level-system
    On opening the reputation window (F8) there isn't a requirement for reaching the next level stated, as in SP.
    Also I've found that on loosing funds (buying expensive equipment, paying bribes) my reached level can go down [SIZE=1](also a difference to SP)[/SIZE]


    question a)
    Is there somewhere a list of how many bucks a certain level requires ? (i.e. : 200k level 19, 300k level 20, etc.)


    question b)
    does your level only depends on money or also on number of kills, number of mission, number of found jumpholes etc. ?



    Question about clans
    The list of clans on the server-site doesn't contain all clans and seems not fully up-to-date (i.e. clan-systems), as I've found by surfing the boards here[SIZE=1](perhaps not thoroughly enough ?)[/SIZE].

    HOW does the payment takes place ?


    i.e.:
    I'm flying happily my way, lets say in Vega to the prison for getting rid of all the complaining "pod-people" I've picked up in free-space due to my generosity.
    Suddenly I get kicked out of the trade line and there is this SMG-, FALLEN-, LP- or whatever other piratguy with this mega-killer-ship.


    What happens now?
    Do I get a chat-message or pops a window up, as if a npc-pirates wants me to drop this or that cargo ?
    If i get the chat-message and as I'm shivering in my boots WANT to pay whatever he requests [SIZE=1](as long as I have enough cash to pay him.)[/SIZE],
    what I actually have to do getting HIS account filled up ?
