Couldn't believe it was 2 years ago I first registered either. I ended up trying out Discovery but it wasnt for me. I like rules and every server needs some rules but it got to the stage where I was checking the forums to see if it was allowed to fart or go to the toilet if I was playing ingame.

I have had full clans of Hunters (RAF clan) chasing me from one side of Sirius to the other on my old server. Determined to catch the pirate who dared tax their traders. I had some great times , but I suppose all things come to an end.

I havent played FL for about a year, but when I did play I have played as a pirate for a few years and have plenty of tactics and different approaches to payments other than shouting TAX at everybody in a freighter.

I am totally against players who abuse F1 and I never use bots etc unless against NPCs in my old freighter.

Hopefully I will get in game soon and start to build my char and my rep here on CF.

Hi folks, I registered here a while ago but never got round to trying the mod out, but now i have some free time on my hands and I htought I would give it a go.

Just wanted asked if somebody could point me in the direction of some role play rules for pirates or rogue type chars.

Or if you could spare 5 mins and answer these questions it would be appreciative.

1.Can pirates flee from the battle/pvp and still come back to the system and fight again. Or is seen as fleeing in defeat and pvp over.

2 Am I right in saying pirates cant attack without declaring some sort of tax unless its against police.

The reason I ask this is because I play my pirate rp like I imagine an old school pirate to be. IMO a pirate should loot what he can and run and only fight if he really has to.

My Blackheart pirate char only flew a beatup old freighter and had to use cunning and tactics to evade police and hunters on my old server. I was applauded for being dedicated to my rp with this char.

My hope is to bring him back to life here.
