    Tryed couple mods, and 2 be honnest, curetnly playing on Discovery, but...
    Voted for this in MODDB
    Only reason im playing there is a lot of players.
    This mode have soul and something specific.
    I truely hope that this mode will win contens and enter first 5.
    Im sick of unfriendly folks around, mumling all day long and killing all of fun. Rules must exist, I agree, but when u have so much admins in one place every1 of them want their peace of cake and to show they are smarter from us, just ORDINARY players. They must respect us, like we respect them. They depend of us just like we depends of their mode.
    Peoples here are friendly, what is most important. I dont even felling compromites from head admin.
    Im not sticking in ur asses (sry for word), Im not that kind of man, just telling truth and what i truly think.
    Do some commercial folks, specially in youtube, there are much peoples who spinning around in search for their first FL mod, im sure of that.
    Make some good intro. Make peoples come online, this mode deserve to bearing best FL mode.
    And once again, u know im bad in english and I apologies for that ;)

    ok, u would like to know which is:


    1. best torrpedos (coalitian torpedo doesn pay off so one beneath them)
    2. best countermeasures (is there better than 90% like adv. have it, or anythig else?)
    3. best mines.
    4. best missiles ( i got nemesis, is there any better?)


    so, i would like to know launchers for them and ammo where i can get, so if some1 know something and is willing to share that with me, plz post here or pm me :)

    but I dont even joined server, how game can kick me when im not there ;/
    i seems that some bug occure when i was killed in those non vanila sys ;/ and now it seems that server remember my account number and baned me for good :( cannot be any corrupted file on my computer, i reinstaled everything, from top to bottom ;( there must be something in server what wont let me in ;/ like some sort of ban or something... can admins reset my account?

    dont know what happend, been in "upper unknown" system and entered jump hole to the right of start of upper unknown, entered, nomad killed me, I used RESPAWN and game crash. i losed connection ;/
    than server chrashed and all players droped
    i tryed to come back but game refuse when i use thos character agan, it whrite that im in malta in description (thats the place where i been last time docked), but i cant enter in game, it says that more time passed than expected for entering, and then they back me to chose server. i tryed to enter with another char, i succeded, but when i use CHAR SELECT and again want to enter game, again same story :/
    i tryed and tryed and later on i cannot enter any more totaly, with any char, nor old or new, not even on serv, it says loot of time has passed for action and to press ESC
    reinstaled game from begining, but neither that solved problem :(
    same thing, i cannot conect to server
    i see others playing normaly ;/


    can some1 help me plz ? :(

    I think that's beter start for get some money is to trade, rather than do the jobs
    yesterday I buyed dragon in kusari, some decent weapon, explored nearbuy systems, and headed to magelan, i know form sp thats there is base who have ship with 275 cargo space, but they are hostile, can't dock. than i headed i think to leeds, finded one wreck in cloud of gases, but THEN something uncloaked and start shouting. For less than a few seconds i was dead, loosing I my cargo. Name of enemy was Don Kavash gunship ;/ They EATED my sheald and ship hp ;/
    can some1 recommend me some good start ship with good cargo space for 150 000 and where to find it?

    why I start with lvl 18?

    how to level up, becose there's not next level req to know what I need for next lvl?

    is there some connection with game and this forum, coz some things confuse me, like FORUM MONEY and so on... ?


    does all my new char will start with 150 000 credits and 18 lvl ?

    first of all, what will hapend if I install CF and than restore my old save games from original of FL?


    second: I buy, lets see, ship from CF, the one wich doesn't have in FL, and then backup save game, reinstall FL and start original FL with this save game? :)

    lol, i succeded ;p
    manualy downloaded file and than puted in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\SHIPS\Custom\CFships
    restarted upload manager, they remember wich file they downloaded and continued with download ;p

    it seems that damned zone alarm blocked somehow update proces, even I'v disable it from startup tab from msconfig. the funiest part is that update goes normaly when I activate zone alarm ;/
    when there is no fireweall, update wont go, but with firewall they updating. give me tip, where is logic here?


    anyway, there is another problem. games updating to some part, but than sudenly stop updating, aprox 5 min from its start and wont go futher, [E4] is eror, they just stop updating ;/


    is there on net package to manualy download for update?

    anyway, didn't know what patch exacly do, i have tryed every single thig i can remember, but CF screen when i start game says something like "update not found. single player only [E12]" or something like that. hmmm, does game can be updated without patch??? i was thinking that patch has conection with this. maybe its just a firewall that block it ;/

    I'v have try that too.
    CF is working, but only in single player
    reinstaled game over 10 times until now
    All I got is fine green color of my face, I think I gona be sick...going mad slowly...


    Anyway, I'v tryed this last time


    1. unistalled and deleted all remaining files from everything, FL, FMM, CF etc, even from registry
    2. freesh install FL
    3. restart computer
    4. install official patch 1.1 for FL
    5. extract CF in FMM\mods folder
    6. Started CF from FMM
    7. Started CF patch
    (skiped one step this time, crac... u now ;) :)


    this time patch succefuly go to end of process, but multiplayer button is still gray, even now :( :( :(

  • CF patch1.7a problem

    I have, but it seems that maybe my version of FL isnt good (version is 1.00).
    I'v tryed everythig what i know, it seems that in my version FL put some files in his EXE folder, but patch need them to be in parent folder of FL. I finded this COMMON.dll file wich patch is needed in EXE folder, copy-paste them in parent folder of FL, than started patch, they dont anymore looking for COMMON.dll, but need next file wich is also in EXE folder of FL
    I can copy all files from EXE folder in original FL folder, but that wont be smart, wont give me anything good ;)
    So, conclusion is: some files need to be IN parent folder, NOT in EXE folder, for patch to work normaly ;/
