hi, im new here but i also have this problem. When the problem occured i got an error reading in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\news.dll

can anyone host this file to rapidshare or something to see if this is a corrupted file and the cause?

forget it all, i turned my comp off and on again and it works fine now
