helpful hint for the download of CF

once downloaded, install it, if done properly, test it to see if there is corruption, if there is
download again intill it works, once you have a working download (moddb seems to be the most
corrupt free for NZ) burn it to a CD or for 1.8 a DVD! lol then you wont have to download it again.

Tip: the light fighter is almost impossible from a distance, try to close the gap and try to stay

yep i have:D had to do some balancing though,
1>turn off automatic updating on things you can do yourself
2>for reg tools use scanners not ones that run in the background
3>Before you consider using it, look at its requirements
4>since Spyware can make a really bad lag, 2 scanners are good enough
5> 0ne all round time virus scanner that does the all in one
6>don't forget the firewall
7>and some simple one click fix software

this is the software i use to fix and defend my PC, the good thing is, iv got no lag from it:D

this is a great combination i use that has kept my PC still working and has been optimized for
gaming LOL when your G card is PCI you have to find somthing that works LOL:D

since i use 56k speed... i made sure they all work in well together

The Direct X prob? lol i encounted this on a few mod and games i downloaded recently:D

Here is a list of DX files that are needed of serten mods and games
if you can get them, put them someware safe so you can use them if needed

d3d8.dll

d3d9.dll

d3dx9_26.dll (main one)

d3dx9_30.dll (main one)

pretty much just put one or more in the game directory intll it works

d3dx6_29.dll is a DX 9 file right? a FL mod required it in
order to work if i remember, odd?

one thing i did learn in the past about reinstalling windows multiple times, is that it seriously wears
down your hard drive, and man that sucks;( smart idea to think ahead:D

my trick: grab as many reg and windows repair/cleaner tools as possible and update windows
regularly then fortify it with a bunch of virus and spyware scanners.

don't know if you know this, if you defrag your PC too many times, it can corrupt data and wear
down your hard drive. once a week or month is good enough.

that's how iv kept my PC alive and working:D

It might have been a corrupt Win file? like direct x?

i like the old episodes more, some of the new ones seem... a bit off to me, stuff about the prophecy and so on just ruin it for me, but i do like seeing things go boom!
