    "da-te-n gura matii!!!"
This probably remained unsolved and I think it deserves an explanation. This means "Go in your mother's mouth!"(in our country it sounds like swearing), but it's not so bad. Rather appropiately you should say "Du-te-n pizda matii!" or just "PIZDA MATII!", which means "Go in your mother's cunt", respectively "Your mother's cunt". The last is the most common way to say Fuck You in Romanian - and it's very, very offensive. -hope that sheds some light^^

Meanwhile, just so that people literally now what they are actually talking about when they use the word...:"fuck":

i just love the way it sounds...
    now ask me what it

means...i'll get to post one more :D[/quote ]

I`ve tried old and new drivers and there is no change.

It surely has to do something with the gravimetrical effects stuff (O'Neill managed to pull it off so, I`ll see what I can do)

The problems I have are most likely caused by some kind of conflict or incompatibility. No matter what I change the problem persists.
I`ve set all the details to minimum or of and there still are problems. I believe it is obvious that a driver or something similar is causing this and it could be that even with

Even with overclocking from Bios, with the PC specs you have posted, you can't push the performance to the level needed for 1.8.

I`m surprised to hear that. In this case the mod deserves more credit than I thought.

As for the Legacy, I was thinking to do that, and I will, but first I must see if there is any difference if I run the game in some compatibility modes. I have the fatal memory error problem with Arx Fatalis, if anyone is familiarised with this game, and the Windows 95 compatibility mode solved some problems similar to those of Freelancer (the fatal memory error remained).

Do you have any of your voltages increased to compensate for the up-lift in power consumption?

Yes, everything there is tuned correctly. My brother, working at Quantic Lab, a game testing facility, modified the specifications 2 years ago and it has been like that since. Except for some Bsod`s there are no big problems...
    I`ll check the Catalyst.

I have one, though it has nothing to do with such sophisticated tech

It works acceptable with half the in game details and Game Boster. This program really is something.

As for overclocking, my Pc is overclocked from BIOS, every major component.
I`ll reinstall Cf and select lower details. Thx

    Hi there

Nice to see that people with Windows 7 are not having problems with Cf.

I have W 7 and it does not work properly for me. I installed Cf today and everything went fine. The problem is that when I play the game and explore asteroid fields with nebulae it runs really sluggish. It goes so sluggish that you have to wait for the cursor to move.

I have a relatively good pc: I can play Mass Effect, Half- Life Unreal 4 etc. The WEI scored it 4.5 The only issue I know about is that when I first entered Freelancer Cf it warned me that it could not identify the graphics card. But this is not something new, 1.7 worked fine without recognizing it.

Is it possible that I can not play the game with full graphics on this machine? It would be weird, I think. If anyone has some clue to what might be the problem pls tell me.

    Pc configuration:

    Intel Pentium 4 631, 4000 MHz (15 x 267)
    Gigabyte GA-8IPE775-G
    2048 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)

ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP (RV635)
    DAC Type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
    Driver Date: 11-Dec-09
    Driver Version: 8.690.0.0
    Driver Provider: ATI Technologies Inc.
    Memory Size: 512 MB

OP, can the Omicron sistems be rid of the Dom`Kavash in 1.8? Or maybe some of them if not all... It would be a nice thing to be able to relax peacefully in the Omicrons

Yes, I was talking about human players completing the SP missions. The NPC`s are a different thing.

The thing I want to bring to attention is that freelancer crossfire players should all be familiarized with the original set of events. Anyway, the team will see what they`ll do

Hi there, I don`t know if this has been asked before but I will anyway:

Speaking about the Single P, could it be possible to make available the single player missions for a party of players? It would certainly bind together the two sections of the game.

And there is this matter about the possibility to dock capital ships owned by players... But the first one is more important.

I ned this information for SP use only: does enyone know what file must be removed from Crossfire in order to modify all the "config" files? One can modify shiparch.ini and add hardpoints with UDF editor but will not be able to increas cruise spead or modify weapons colors. What kind of Freelancer is that if you cannot arange your SP game? It`s somehow funny. Playing a SP game you can modify a digit and become invincible but you can`t modify your weapons? I`m not trying to be impolite, I apeciate very much the work of Crossfire`s creators, it`s a good game. Please give me the name of that crafty file so I can show it what for.
