Your supposed to use both 1.56 and
1.57.....after activating 1.56 activate 1.57...ignore the warnings it gives and click yes to
them.

Well it isnt a IP Address
like the one that your modem gives off. Its a Microsoft unique Multiplayer
Identification.
If you lost it then theres no way to recover it unless you saved the
one that you were playing on Crossfire with.
The only way to get your chars back is
for OP to do his thing but like he said, he won't do it.

un-install Freelancer and reinstall it, when you go to the multiplayer section after it
brings up a window with you MP ID.....delete that one and enter your old one.
