    hi everyone,


    i'm new to crossfire and freelancer so please consider this as a newbie post ;-)


    i want to launch my own crossfire server.
    i have installed crossfire 1.7 including patch 1.7a.
    after that i have started flserver.exe.
    after that i have started freelancer.exe -slocalhost:2302 ... click on multiplayer ... in game click on multiplayer then lan.


    now here's the problem ... it says my own server has the version 1.0 and the 24/7 server is version 1.7.
    i cannot connect to my own server.


    so basically what i'm asking is, how do i setup my own crossfire server? i havn't found anything mentioned on the website or on in this forum by searching for "server".
