Dunno....
We have a lot of good level 10 weapons but level 9 are too weak specialy against DK's.
Why not develop level 9 weapons meating the specifications required to kill the fast moving DK fighters ? and maybe faster level 10 to better aimed the Aliens ?

For a couple of days I saw the server is rebooting ( still ) !
Damned !! I'll must wait until it's ON again !!
BUT yesterday i tried anyway and to my surprise the server was ON !!!!

Hey, don't think that all guys here on crossfire are young, i know several players who had they first computer in the 80ies and still are playing!
I think I'm 1 of the oldest player on Crossfire and i play here more than 2.5 year ( without pvp ! ) and still enjoying relationship with others.
Buying a shroud is asking for troubles, specialy i'ts a PVP designed ship. I had a full year a beautifull KOMODO DRAGON that did good job against NPC's but not terrific in PvP. Blades ships are very good also, the choice is yours but if you are going NPC dont excite pirates or police !

Even with a transporter it's easy to survive in the new
parts. Its only a question of reputation. System X and most of the new systems are ruled by outcasts, so make shure your are at least neutral with them !Tip: Go to Rochester base ( behind Manhattan ) and buy a JUNKERS bribe, that will make you neutral with most factions !

The old systems is pritty the same. Youl'll find some new systems ( in Texas and Colorado ), some new JH leading to a all new world, the world of Crossfire, and most of all you'll find new commodities ( Vip's, prisonners, contraband stuff, pods... )
Comming in Crossfire is no point unless you go explore this new space. You'll discover as many new systems as in the old part. Huge places with tons of new things ( ships, weapons, extra hull, generators, Mk2 arsenal, shields, ...)
Crossfire is also a role playing mod and most of the action is out there in the 3 new parts ( New Sirius, Altair and Domkavash world ! ). Clans are ruling this aspect of the game and most uses a licence to show affiliation but it has no effect on the game play.
Hoping to see u in space at planet CROSSFIRE !
