As a trully freelancer i'm very interested in the development of a ship build ( only ? or specialy ? ) for a freelancer clan.

Can a NPC drop more than 1 escape pod ?

If no, no problem than but...
if YES, can we imagine that higher leveled NPC's will drop more pods than low level NPC ?

For ex:
level 1 to 4 will drop 1 escape pod
level 5 to 7 will drop 2 escape pods
and above 7, 3 escape pods

of course this will drop the value of 1 pod from 100.000 $ to lets say 25.000 $

Killing easy Mollys give you equaly money than a hard target ( corsair or outcast) its not "fair".

In december 2004 I sended a note to OP with a way to change current ranking but lack of programmers the idea was droped.

I worked out a formula that was able to use most of statistic info, maybe it will help you on your work.

LEVEL = [ current rank + ( kills/100 ) + ( hours on line /10 + ( missions/10 ) + systems founded + bases founded + jumpholes founded ] /7

This will more reflect the value of a pilot evolved in Crossfire. It would be nice if his LEVEL could be displayed somewhere on screen so everybody will know his trully 'ranking' in Crossfire.

I dunno if it is possible to add to this formula the number of personnal kills between humans ( pvp )because only npc kills are recorded, i think but it will give a more accurate info about some1 skills.
