So I've been playing crossfire on and off for many years now. A while back, I built up quite the set of characters with a good bit of bank to spare. Unfortunately, I had to quit playing for a while (real life and all), and actually uninstalled freelancer etc. Well, I reinstalled today, making sure to type my multiplayer id code correctly, and half of my characters were gone. Actually, all of my good chars were gone, and the two i hadn't done anything with were still there. I was wondering if there was some sort of char wipe a while back or if it was standard procedure to dump characters after a period of inactivity. I know my chars are probably gone to the wastes forever, and as sad as that is, there is no point shedding tears over what can't be fixed, really, I just want to know how to avoid this in the future. Do I need to log on once a month? once a week? or was there some other factor that could have been involved in my tragedy. Thanks for the help.

So a little over a year ago, i made a post (here: Mobile Docking?) about player dock able battleships, and i was informed it wouldn't happen anytime soon, but I was wondering i they might be implemented for 1.9. just curious. Thx

Oh Mighty SWAT_OP-R8R!
so, I was just taking a look at the new 88-flack mod, and noticed a few rather neat features, and I was wondering if they might show up in a future release of Crossfire. Most notably, I've always thought the ideas of "mobile docking" and hireable AI were amazing--being able to dock on a player controlled battleship--i mean seriously, how bad-ass can you get? anyway, just an idea/question--and I can't wait for 1.8
oh, here is the link i was reading (the ship section)
