    The Global Server is down atm, but there are several solutions to connect to the FL Servers, if you want to play on CF you just need to install and activate the mod


    if you want to have a serverlist, then you can use the Global Server Workaround-Mod, download it here;

    Sry, i know that the thread is older but to the backup plan...


    I had suggested the idea to make an inoffical Patch, with do bypass GLS and listen all current bigger gaming FL Servers
    Named "Freelancerpatch 1.20", and url like www.freelancerpatch.de.vu/.info/whatever would maybe result that it would be first result in google search so if ppl search for Freelancer Patch they would get redirected to the GLS Bypass, and, if new servers are hosted or old ones are dead, you can remove them, just hosting the newest version


    (And btw, even swat is at a disadvantage without GLS; they dont even see the name of the server, even if i wasnt a really active player here, i found it through masterserver (and of course ppl talk, but without GLS i may wouldnt think much over it))


    : I know W0dk4 made a Workaround mod, which is nearly the same what I have written above, but i would recommend a .exe or .msi file cause it should be so simple as possible, learning activating mods they can do later, when they are part of FL Community
    ²: You may think that FL comm isnt growing, but you ARE wrong if you think this, there are enough players who bought this game in last time
    And btw, we deal with CBS (=ComputerBildSpiele, German PC Magazine) to get bring Freelancer out in Magazine as Full Version and maybe with a review (but it will take at least to summer cause they have to deal with ubisoft and the FL licence

    be4 cryin out loud and get in panic, listen 2 me:


    1. Without Masterlistserver no Newbies will come or even v few
    2. There more then enough guys who dont know how 2 direct connect 2 a server


    So this would mean, that it is a great hit against the Freelancer community


    But I know that DFLS Serveradmin Crazy has rebuild the Listserver and has tested it, it works fine, but he need the DNS in the Freelancer.ini, because there FL connecting 2. but he said that he has som contacts and maybe he is able 2 get the DNS, so listserver would be saved

  • Error in FLMM

    Du brauchst eine 100%ige saubere Freelancerinstallation, das heisst also reinstall. Ausserdem darfst du den Mod nicht deaktivieren, damit hat FLMM Probs. "Sie" mag dann nicht mehr, hat wohl Kopfschmerzen. :D

  • Vorschlag zum RP

    Es müsste möglich sein...
    entweder wird, wenn man die Lizenz kauft, automatisch in flhook eingetragen, oder aber, man kauft die Lizenz direkt über flhook, z. B: /get smuggler license oder sowas, und dann halt nur noch einstellen, dass sich flhook sich das merkt :D
    Wenn das über normalem warenverkauf dann nicht geht, tjo dann wirds vermutlich arbeitsreich: Per Command die Waren verkaufen, ist aber viel arbeit, dass für jede basis einzeln einzustellen :D

    I know v much ppl which have buyd the game and dont like it, my negative opinions (I have only played demo version):


    - A damnit Upgradesystem: You can instantly Upgrade to level 10 or step by step. But what is really annoying, you need still the full resources to upgrade the nex level. better would be:
    1) You can only upgrade level by level
    or
    2) If u upgrade, then ur current upgrade paid resources would be make the next upgrade cheaper
    (in the demo i only have spared for the lv 10 upgrade)
    - No MP. Afaik they have said that they may will make one, but it would be a Deathmatch mode.
    - You cant buy freighter (?)
    - "cheating" NPCs (i.e. v much rocket ammo)
    - And I like the Autopilot in Freelancer much more :D

    5 vs 1 and make kills, that not mean that i can knock off all of them..
    especially waspspammers when i am on torps, they suck v much, or even better pro spammers with 2 firestalker eh?
    but eat my lanc0r or my torp and dont say a word anymore :D
    i am good in each fighting style, oguns, rak or torp, wasp, and i mean waspskill, not waspspamm eh

    Here I am! :D
    I want to ask all Clans to use their systems, without getting on their Blacklist, some bout me and FL:
    - Yes, I am new to CF, but in Vanilla Freelancer I have a good PvP skill, and i dont run away, even i must fight outnumbered, 5 vs me for example. And I am able to kill even then, sometimes more than 1 Kill per undock (also depents on the enemys). I dont think, that my skill arent so much worser than in normalo 8)
    - I am against Flamers, Dockkillers, Low Level Killers, etc
    If u get low level bashing, just write to me ingame, i will look how much time i will need to fly to your system
    - Normally I am peaceful, and I dont flame when my Trader (or another Characters) get killed. But dont forget: Pirats are evil, they are really psychic guys in the real world ey? I dont will help you against Pirats, except you pay me, I like you or I h8 this specify Pirat. :D


    Btw, I need good trade routes, and do the goods prices change so much or just a little bit each day, also can it changes very much of the "basic" price?
