I just bought an Armored Transport freighter. I noticed that the only weapons it would accept had to be a match on level. Level 5 turret in a Level 6 slot would not work. Just reporting that this seemed unusual and I wasn't sure if it is intended.

I thought Disney was already doing Star Wars parodies. What was "The Last Jedi" then?

I often wake up with sleeping injuries. This would explain that.

Smuggler License lets you buy black market goods (BMG) which look more profitable than regular commodities, so I think the benefit is already there.

I'm sure they will have an A1 steak sauce (AI) model for a dynamic economy very soon.
I read that if you have 1 pilot with 1 of each cargo parked somewhere, you can just look at the current prices. Of course that piot needs to have visited everywhere.

I'm not seeing any text in Oasis. The welcome screen when you warp in is blank. The Starfleet Academy and weapons platforms have no labels. They show up on the contact list but with no text.

Have you looked into a cloud computing service like "Linode"? They can assign you a virtual server so you never have to worry about hardware. I know their smallest node has 1GB ram, 1cpu, 25GB storage and 40/1 GB network for $5 US/per month. They support enterprise systems so maybe they would do daily backups by default. I am just suggesting this as an option to explore. I don't use the cloud myself.
I have multiple servers at a homelab so if one goes down, the data and the service can be brought up on another system. I don't use raid because I have been burned thinking the data was safer than it was (boot/OS drive failure loses the raid config for one). I use "Proxmox" to create virtual servers and "Docker" for simple apps. One app is "TrueNAS" which is for my backups and shared files. I have 2 of them (TrueNAS running on Proxmox) and sync the data. (Proxmox and TrueNAS are open source and free for non-commercial use.)
I used to be in IT. I supported a site with 2 call centers and about 500 local users. Phones were using an Avaya PBX. Network was with Cisco hardware.
Now I fight a neverending war with megacorps to defend my privacy by blocking outgoing traffic from THEIR malware. "MacroHard" is my top nemesis.

Edit: Keep the data drive safely offline while you reinstall the boot OS.

Mirrored drives are duplicates. Either one should be usable without the other. If you rebuild the boot dive and then add the Cf (D:) drive to the system, it should all be there including settings. My experience with this is MS Windows OS. It might save some time.
