  • CF 1.7 addon - need help

    Hi OP, I am new here, but if noone alse offers, then i have the time to try to help..Currently with UAC..Been here a few weeks..


    I am no modder, but can help with the infocards..


    Is it just PLANET info, or do you need info on mine fields, clouds, asteriod fields ect...?EG..The minefield in Sovietskysa has no info..

    Just an example...


    I am on the server from 9am till 4pm almost everyday, and evenings too..
    So I could start mapping stuff out A.S.A.P..
    Should only take me a few days, as long as I have permission to enter Clan territorrys..


    You may not have enough time for me to do this, but the offer is there..

    Hi to all,


    Well, Ive found a home.{UAC} To be exact. These guys seem to be on the same wave length as me.make of that as you will lol


    I would like to thank those who offered me a home and say I will try to live up to the standards set me.


    If my role allows me, I will point any newcomers to the Clans which I feel they are best suited to. This is what I ask everyone to do as a matter of course. (Im sure you do anyway)


    I am looking forward to getting involved when I can and will be building up my Chars as I go.


    It will take a little time to get to know you all and to understand the politics so to speak, but Ill get there.


    So, good hunting and see you in space.

  • IT'S NICE BEING POSITVE

    Well, after my last post, I took note of the positive replys and decided to continue playing.


    Im just putting in the hours when I can and hope to get my first Char finished sooner rather that laterDamn Pirates picking on me.they wont get a pennyLOLAfter all Im Captain Scarlet, for those who are old enough to remember, Im indestructibleNot my ship I might add.just me.So kill me and Ill just keep returning.. I shouldnt have said that should I?....Catch me if you can.


    I had a laugh the other day, An LP member was asking me for credits while I was on a planet, I said no, he said he was going to kill me, Can the PPCS really blow up a PlanetLOL wait till Ive got my Char finished, I may start taxing YOU Mr pirate
    I guess Ill have to watch my back nowLOL


    Anyhow, I am new, so a few Questions?


    1. I noticed on the Forum that a few clans have left or are leaving, so could an update be posted, I am not sure if Nephelle is still owned, V.I.S I think, but I have not seen any info Are they still here?


    2. If anyone is looking to recruit a new clan member, let me know, Like people said in there replys to my first post, to make changes, I need to be more active in the gameSo I offer my servicesBUT No Pirates please.


    3. I would like to know what your clan stands for, Your M.O. so to speak. I am new here this time around but have been here before. Im of the older generation, so I like to think I have a more mature outlook and have played FL for, well seems like ages. I have more spare time on my hands now so I can put in the hours were needed. With a little more practice I should get up to speed and I believe I can be and asset to the right clan.


    So, thanks in anticipation, and Ill see you all server side

    I logged on a few days ago, I used to play CF in the old days, 1.2 I think...(Yea im old, but wise I hope)


    You have come a long way OP since the old days, well done to you and your team..


    I started to read the Forums and was saddend to read whats there....No wonder people are leaving.


    I decided to start this thread because most of you have lost the meaning of playing together on a server.


    After reading the forums, all I see is FLAME WARS between clans, Moaning, whinging and infighting.


    This is the main reason that I and others I know wont play here anymore..


    Its got to stop, your all behaving like SPOILT BRATS...The more OP gives you, the more ungrateful you are...(If the cap fits)


    You should all take a step back and remember playing on this server is a privilage not a right..


    You guys have the best mod out there for Roleplay, Trading or just exploring, trust me im old and have played on most of them and this server is by far the most professionally run server out there..


    The grass is not greener, just a different shade..


    IF you want to play on an unprofessional server that allows cheating, mods, dock spawning etc...Then C.F is not for you..


    All this Moaning and Flaming has got to stop..Please you can do it..


    Most other servers have rules but dont enforce them..so unless you are an ADMIN or POLICE you get severe problems trying to play properly..


    I make no apolligies here OP, AND If I were you I would close this site down for a while and take a well deserved rest..maybe that will teach them.


    Remember OP set up this site for you with most of his own cash I would think, so more respect please...


    Most other servers envy you guys, you have the potential to be the best, but you must stop all this infighting...


    I know rules sometimes seem unfair...But did the rules in the original game make the game less enjoyable, I dont think so..(Yes there were rules)


    OP, As side note the rule regarding entering Clan systems seems to be bothering a lot of people, including newbies..
    Remember when you first played F.L. and entered the ALPHA system and found you were hostile, after you killed them, didnt you want to get your REP changed so you could land, buy a new ship, trade etc..


    Maybe a REP change system for Clans would be possible for those people wanting to enter these systems...Those who didnt pay but entered would face the consequences, but could enter without asking people all the time..surley this would inhance ROLEPLAY
    AND if people survived, new members could be recruited


    Remember..IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME..
    Just a thought..


    Regarding Roleplay, Why dont you think of a script before starting..Get it written up on the Forum, and posted in game...
    I will help with this if you want....
    Most people just grab a m8 and try to R.P without anyone knowing whats going on, this is what causes arguments..



    I dont know you personally OP, and if you think this will do no good please feel free to delete this thread.


    I just feel strongly about this..


    At least I tried...
