Question... You would prefer we didn't.?

Although... that is the way the mod is written. Anyone playing the game (Single or Multiplayer ) anywhere in the world, is required to get the updates from the Swat Server, everytime they start the game up.

WOW... that must amount to HEAPS of Downloads.

Personally, I would have written the downloader to download all the dynamic updates once and then just have the patchrules tell the clients which one the server is running. 22b compared to 600kb download eachtime. oh well. *wink*

    1. not recieved. sending a msg to a player aint contacting.

    2. the agreement was studied before the server was put up and we obviously believe it has not been broken.

    3. not in the readme we have. however we did ask you before we started and permission was not denied. OP you knew we were doing this months ago.

    4. to get a crossfire server up and running NO Crossfire files need be edited, as you would know.

    5. agreed.

    A. WE cant play on the SWAT server.
    B. LAG is the ONLY issue WE have. (it's difficult to kill AI, Impossible to PvP)

Actually, I cant understand why this is such a big deal for your server. It's ok to play offline single player but not ok to play together without the lag, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD LoL. Come on fellas relax.

@Boyscout - We playing the crossfire mod. Whats so annoying about that. Why get annoyed at all. 8o

The server is not running so SWAT peeps can come play. ?(

Infact, I would expect your lag (and therefore kick) to work the same as if we tried playing on the SWAT German server.

The server was actually password protected not in an attempt to hide it from you but to stop SWAT'ers from playing on it. Our intention is certainly not to reduce numbers from the German Swat server.

We do EnJoy the experience without the lag thou and obviously we all think it's an awesome mod. Congrats.

    Hi there...
Just to clarify OP - you didn't tell 'those guys' anything. LoL
Question - How are they to react if you dont contact them. Oooops I just did.

BTW - Getting Angry wont help :)

"Australasian (CF)" is there for lag reasons. Not such a big deal.

4 of us only just came to crossfire a day before the end of 1.62...

We were like WHOA COOL.!!! WHOO HOO.!!!

Then 1.70 started testing and we been going through withdraw symptoms for the last week [8]
