hmmm...... I do have ZoneAlarm suite running. Will try turning that off, and will try pinging in combat situation. Don't think it will make much of a difference considering I am running on a high end machine but its worth a try.

I am starting to get annoyed by being told I lag. I think I know what it looks like. I stopped playing for 3 years due to bad connection and lag. Things changed and now I have a good connection and good ping. Is it possible that I lag with this kinda ping or are they just not willing to accept how I fly?

Dropped in coz over the last couple of days when I started PVPing was told a couple times that I must be lagging due to jumping around so much.

I have a pretty nice 2MB connection and check the ping every time I log in. So far in the last 2 weeks since I started playing at CF have not seen a ping above 41ms. The lowest I ever saw was 36ms.

I know I jump around a lot in PVP but do that intentionally by using the thrusters and the strafe controls for a split second at a time in continuous quick sequences. I believe this makes me quite hard to aim at. I really hope this is not causing lag or other server problems.

Hey I wanna help kill some of them coppers. They really are a pain in my exhaust pipes sucking up all the fumes leaving my turbo charger in want for some.

Thanks that will do nicely. Now I can create a new account on the laptop and have 10 characters to play with on each computer.

The important thing is though that I can play with the same primary character on both computers.

I have my account number and have installed FL on a second machine, my laptop. Now I want to make sure I can play the same CF characters from either my desktop or my laptop.

Can you please advise where and when do I get the option to enter/change the account number. When I first run FL or when I first connect to FL server? Do I need to run it first in vanilla or with CF mod installed?

If I missed doing this at the time of installation or at the first connect whatever is applicable can I still change it later. If so where and how?

Judging by the stats Komodo Dragon and Phoenix seems to be quite a good one. Are they far and hard to get?

The other day I received a mail about the new mod then today I was looking for some wallpaper and stumbled across some FL shots. Got curious and ended up here to find out that FL is still alive and kicking. Think I might dig up the old CD and have another go after 3-4 years in retirement.

For those that don't know Mutant Wizard I was a freelance pirate, mercenary and generally a scumbag of the worst sort. I don't think I changed my spots.

If you are my kind of scum would appreciate a heads up on who are the new pigs to watch out for.
