I have been looking at some of the mods on freelancer and noticed when you scan a ship only weapons are displayed. I do know you need to create an wireframe of a ship to do so base upon the make wire utility by Devast8or tutorial. I do have Milkshape 1.8.4 and the UTF utility installed. However, is there way to use the original .cmp or .sur file to make the wireframe for the ship instead of making the wireframe from scratch? The tutorials for this are old and was wondering if it can be done.
