  • New To Crossfire

    First off - Crossfire is awesome.
    I've played Freelancer for awhile and have tried a bunch of MODS, especially Freeworlds. - CROSSFIRE Rocks them all. It really feels like it was meant to be part of the game. Awesome work.


    But I got a quick question... mabye, alittle advice seeking.
    (PS: I play in Single Player).


    I think I accidently attacked Gateway patrols above planet crossfire. It was the heat of battle (and It was really late at night), I just came back from a prison drop off, came out of the jump to the crossfire gates, and boom. I get attacked. Like always I'll quickly get rid of the pirates. I assisted the Gateway patrols in wiping out the pirates quick, but I must have destroyed one of the gateway ships on accident too. Before I know it I have several fighters attacking me that i was JUST HELPING !! In self defense, of course, I kill the rest of them off... several jump gates turned red and it looks like I'm on the outs. I don't really have a saved mission that I want to go back to either..


    Can I use option A - Figure out a way to get back on their good side. Honostly I don't even know what faction they represent on the REP list....


    Or option B - Since I'm already on the outs, should I just go the rest of the way down my dark path. I sorta have the goal of joining the Corsairs, getting my rep up with them and flying some missions. Is that possible? Never tried it.


    Your advice and thoughts would be greatly appreciated [10]
