Thank you Martind Forlon and Apache for the answer. Mission 24: Crossfire Chapter 5 missions could be interrupted so I flew and researched Sol. I was supposed to go back to Sirius Sector, but quit because it's too far away and so I'll finish my crossfire campaigns and go back to Sirius.

I just finished the campaigns vanilla and then I got the chapter 1 task automatically. Now I'm in missions 20 or chapter 3 and how do I stop missions? I wanted to ask if the mission could be aborted because I wanted to fly the entire Sirius sector and investigate.
