Fixed it. Since Freelancer's my favorite game, I decided to format my PC and restart Windows. After getting all the drivers and stuff installed, I reinstalled Freelancer and Crossfire, and boom, it's working again.

I apologize, I am currently in Cyprus. I am returning to the UK today. I attempted to the save game filesto another folder to see if the problem was related to themso it was just like fresh install. Unfortunately, the issue persisted; the Crossfire menu did not appear, and nothing happened. Although the Task Manager indicated the game was running, it was not functioning properly.

My understanding was that it was mission 32; if it is actually mission 40, I apologize for the error. However, my primary concern is that the game is no longer loading, even after a fresh installation. Could there be any specific steps required during uninstallation, such as addressing potential conflicts within the registry?

I am encountering a rather peculiar situation. I have been enjoying this mod for over a year on Windows 11 without any problems. However, I experienced a crash on mission 32, shortly after acquiring the reactor.

Following the "All Hands on Deck" call, as I attempted to undock, the game froze and crashed. After restarting my PC, the game would not start, although the task manager indicated it was running. To summarize, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the issue persists; the task manager confirms it is running, yet the game does not load, not even the crossfire menu. I am quite puzzled and would appreciate any suggestions, as I would like to complete the game.
