Well, I admit I don't know a lot about programing, but that doesn't mean that I am unwilling to help. And it doesn't mean that the rest of us are not willing to help in any way. But didn't the Romans also brought in improvements even though they conqured you? And they kept the basic government you had so basically they didn't oppress you.

I think it is the difference in language that make the meaning of WARRIOR different between us. In my definition, a warrior is one who makes war, while I think that your definiation of Warrior is more similar to my definition of HERO, someone who fights because people need him (or her) is called a hero.

I know that you have your own opinon OP but I have to tell you something. There is a reason why Warriors are named that way, it is because they make war for a living.

For centuries, my country have fought many, many wars. All of them are as pointless as can be. Wars were fought not only for power but for a deluded view of the thing called honor. A man may kill you master for being evil, and no matter how evil your master was, you are honor bound to kill him, and his family is honor bound to kill you and your family is honor bound to kill them and so on. When that American first come to our soil, we realized that with our constant internal struggle, the world have left us behind. And when the Atomic Bombs fell, we realize that war and hatred bring no good, and we retired the Samurai forever, for one cannot protect life if one lives to destroy it.

P.S. Why am I continuing this topic when what I usually do is try convince people to solve their problems? I am pretty bored and talking to OP is kinda fun even though he has a blatent (is this the right word?) way of phrasing his opinons, and this topic is one I can relate to easily because my family history have warriors and soldiers and now businessmen.

But does OP have to be mean and throw swear words around? That just obstruct the path to his ideal. I know he have done a lot for this community be he have got to take a break from being the sole controller of CF, and take a moment's peace once in a while.

Why don't OP share the responsability for the community (which is pretty heavy) instead of taking all of the burden? We are here to help, but if OP pushes us away, what can we do?

(OP, I am not trying to insult you here but I don't know enough english to put this in any other way) Why don't you go out and get a life? You can leave some of the responsability to us, the players of Cross Fire (your children in a way) and you can enjoy your life and be at peace.

Today I had a discussion with OP over the differences between Warriors and Soldiers. He thinks that Warriors are someone to look up to (is this the right phrase?)

I don't think you should lie, but you need to think about what you are saying the others. Don't you know that what you say hurts us too? OP you are a good person but you must understand how people feel.

No... I am an expert on this topic because my family dating back over 50 generations were WARRIORS.

We have killed and been killed. We killed for profit, we killed for power... we killed because a Samurai is not allowed to become anything other then a killing machine.

We jumped at the chance to do something other than to kill someone because all warriors do is kill, they are not allowed to have mercy or anything, so before you blindly worship someone, read up on what they did first.

Oh yeah edo period? You gotta be kidding me, that was one of the most bloodiest times in Japan, stupid butchers, killed people and made themselves out to be heros. The thing nobody ever thinks of is that the victors write the history books. There is a reason why Japan totally switched from military industry to commercial capitalism in freaking two decades, we know what warriors do for us.

And There ARE NO WARRIORS just, soldiers that fight to protect their ideals.

Why do people think that moving to another server means abandonning this one? I have no problems playing on both servers.

I come from a family of warriors and soldiers so I know the difference.

In all of history everywhere in the world, Warriors exist to kill as many people as possible. Their ideal is to fight to kill the enemy. The are like butchers, killing and killing no matter who the enemy is no matter what would happen if they do do it.

During the Meji period, my family chose to stop being warriors because they know that there is no room in a world of creation for destroyers

And no matter what the soldier feels on a personal level, they fight to protect, their home, their family, their way of life, and sometimes they fight to protect their enemies. This is the reason why Spec-Op soldiers are created, so minimal damage is inflicted.

Oh yeah...

no... they fight because it is a lot easier to kill someone than to run your own business

"a soldier fights because somebody told him to do so"
someone who doesn't want all the enemie's families and friends killed

a warrior fight for personal glory

"a soldier does fight to survive (if he fights)"
yes, they fight to ensure the survival of their people, not so they could say they killed someone.

Warriors run from the problems facing the people, while soldiers stay to shoulder some of the burden.

HISTORY PROVES THIS. How you say? Then WHERE is all the warriors?

I think you got it reversed OP, it is the warriors that run but the soldiers are the ones who stay.

And the last part about what happens to soldiers who run away? Yeah, they come back with bigger guns and kick ass, there is a reason why there is no warriors left in the world, there is no place for someone who think killing the greatest amount of people is honorable.
