Alright I will try with Vanilla FL shaders, but last time I did they made the sun look like giant blocks were coming out of it instead of rays and the "Space dust" particles turned into large confetti squares, i'd have to take a screenie next time if it does it again. When I used your shaders it all looks very nice, but my mouse cursor disappears. ALso I think i was rebooting after every install, except for the final one, so maybe i'll do that. Since i noticed on Vanilla FL after i installed and then reboot i don't get lags in jump gates anymore.

Yeah, i think my PC is a little better than the 128 MB settings, but not good enough for the really good shaders lol, so i will try vanilla shaders again like you said, hopefully the giant blocks in the sun's rays do not appear again.

I used to have a pre-built customized with a PSU and stand-alone VId-card, but the mobo or CPU or both burnt-out....

TL;DR version: I want the game to work on Windows 8 64-bit, integrated video card, I want to keep my 1028x1024 or 1028x960 resolution or same as Freelancer Vanilla, but with your AI, Story. Just none or a minimal amount of graphical improvements.

I've tried following the installation instructions with fresh installs 2x now, once on the low 128mb card settings and once without, just to see if my crappy integrated AMD Radeon HD 7310 Graphics card could handle the game. It handles Vanilla Freelancer without mods, so first i install crossfire on higher settings and find there to be too much FPS lags. So i re-installed with the 128mb settings after clean install and now my mouse cursor has disappeared and i can only get 800x600. Since my monitor is native 1280x1024 and I like to run Freelancer in windowed mode at 1280x960 for a 4:3 fit and i noticed that when i switch to windowed mode, i lose the mouse cursor in-game again as well.

Anyway is there a way for me to install on this crappy PC and get the Crossfire Single-Player storyline at 1280x960 with my integrated video? I tried the solution here: How to avoid grafic Problems while playing Freelancer and it did not help, but now Freelancer never asks for my video card information anymore at least. Since the game works with Freelancer without mods, I figure there must be a way to get this mod to work without the graphical enhancements and just the story and AI improvements?

I see there is a Windows 8 solution,
i have Windows 8, but I haven't tried this solution yet: Sweet FX ... probs with windows 8
Haven't tried this yet because i don't know how to "uninstall the SweetFX version installed with Crossfire 2.0"

Been working on this for maybe 4-5 hours now and finally giving up and doing BigDaddy mod on vanilla for now Lol. But do you guys believe it will work on my PC in 10280x960 if i install it a certain way?

Windows 8 64-bit, not 8.1, i dislike 8.1......but will upgrade OS if it would help this game work.
    I have 1.4 Ghz Dual-Core Processor
    AMD Radeon HD 7310 Graphics
2-4 Gig of RAM i think 4 lol...
    200 watt PSU :P

Anyway the only time i lag in regular vanilla Freelancer is in the jumpgates. I tried running a different shader model than SweetFx like VanillaFL, but it looks horrible the sun is a square block of beams and there are squares flying around everywhere with VanillaFL shader for me.
