    It's not bug with crossfire and I don't if it is bug at all.
    It seems that, if there is certain amount of certain objects in system, the game will crash in certain conditions.


    Just enter to x -3043 system only when you are in money earning state in campaign and the there is no nav path displayed.


    I have edited mission files so that I can enter x-3043 system even if have an active mission. That earlier example just disenables nav path but it can be done also so that nav path is displayed. It wont work correctly if you edit mission files when mission is alredy acivated. You have to either start a new campaign or load earlier save.

    Mission 2 was just an example.
    For me it will always crash no matter which mission I'm
    playing.


    Well... mission 5 is the furthest mission I have managed to reach with cr.


    Now I try to edit all the mission files so that they won't display mission start nav path if I'm in x-3043 system but nav path is displayed if I'm in somewhere else.

    HaHaHaA... I'm back with my horrifying english.


    V 1.62 didn't remove this bug and I'm now quite sure that this is real bug



    Once more...


    This crash won't happen if I'm in the money earning state in campaign. It will only happenif I get enough credits to level up. Then I get message to meet Juni, King or whoever in somewhere and a nav path is marked on my map. Forexample in Mission 2 I have to meet Juni and King in Manhattan. So if I at this point try to enter to x-3043 system game will always crash to desktop.


    And now I think that this first nav path, which directs there where the next mission should start, is the PROBLEMO. I don't have enough experience on freelancer modding in order tell why and why just me.



    Guided by this tought, I edited m02 file so that it won't display this nav path.

    I did clean instal of freelancer without any batches but
    the fl still crashes. It only crashes if i have an active mission. Game manages to autosave but if I load it game crashes. I wonder if I'm a only one who has this
    "bug". Why it crashes only if I have an active mission and why only with this system?


    I just downloaded v1.62 and I try if it fixes this problem.

    I have all those bugs that heve been described in this forum (ashcroft, mis4 magellan and crash when I used jumpgates). yesterday I found version 1.61 and those bugs are gone but this x-3043 system problem still remains. Turning 3d sound off won't help.
    Last evening I deleted all saves, installed clean version
    of fl and mod manager 1.31 ,installed cf1.61 and I turned
    3d sound of but the problem was still there.


    Sometimes when it crashes i get microsofts error report
    screen which says information has bees saved to file "FLSpew.txt".

    +(Realtek 850 sound chip)
    AMD Athlon 64 2800+

    512 mb ddr333

    I have internet connection only in my school so It may take some time to give more information.

    It seems that the freelancer crossfire 1.6 will crash to desktop every time when I have an active mission (campaign or job board) and I try to enter to x-3043 system.


    Strange thing is that if I edit cf01 -file, so that there is only 9/10(I don't remem. which)or less jumpgates in x-3043 system, fl crossfire wont crash. It dosen't matter which jumpgates I have left there.


    I have done clean install of fl and deleted all saves but it wont help.Is there anything else i can try?
    Maybe a never version?
